Return Policy
1. Overview
At AC Mechanical Supply, customer satisfaction is very important to us. However, due to the nature of our products and our Payment on Delivery process, all customers are required to inspect their order carefully before making payment and accepting delivery.
Once payment is completed and the product has been accepted, returns are not accepted unless the issue is determined to be a result of our company’s error or a manufacturer defect.
2. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns in the following cases:

The product was inspected and accepted upon delivery.

The issue is not caused by our company or the manufacturer.

The product was installed or used after delivery.

The item was purchased as “On Sale” or marked Final Sale.

The product is missing its original manufacturer packaging, manuals, or accessories.

The product has been opened, used, or modified in any way.
3. Acceptable Returns
A return will only be considered if:

The product has a manufacturer defect that prevents it from operating properly.

The defect is reported within a reasonable time after delivery (typically within 5 business days).

The product is in new, unopened condition with all original manuals, accessories, and packaging materials.
For accepted returns:

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Returned items must be shipped back in the original manufacturer packaging.

Products damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
4. Installation and Warranty
All air conditioning units and HVAC products must be installed by a licensed contractor in order to maintain their manufacturer warranty.
Improper installation, handling, or self-installation may void the warranty provided by the manufacturer.
5. Lost or Damaged Shipments
We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
If your shipment is lost or arrives damaged, you must contact us immediately to file a freight claim with the respective carrier.
We recommend that you retain your tracking number after your order has shipped, as it will be required to process any claim.
What to include in the Refund Policy
Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.
